一直以來，我以為買家具就是去大型連鎖店挑現成款式，尺寸固定、顏色選一選就結束。直到這次裝潢遇到客廳畸零空間的問題，才發現所謂的「品牌標準品」其實限制了不少可能性。
我家客廳一側有樑柱，加上走道偏窄，市面上常見尺寸的沙發擺進去不是太深壓縮動線，就是太短比例失衡。試了幾家連鎖品牌後，怎麼擺都覺得卡卡的。後來改找工廠直營詢問客製化，接觸到國樺家具後才知道，原來沙發的深度、長度，甚至腳踏高度都可以依照空間條件微調。
實際丈量後重新調整尺寸，小客廳視覺上反而更寬敞，動線也順了許多。更重要的是，坐感可以依照使用習慣調整，不必為了配合固定規格去改變生活方式。這種針對「人的習慣」而非「既定尺寸」的做法，差異其實很明顯。
