How do you handle Hindi text conversion for older fonts?

I’ve been handling a lot of Hindi content lately, and one challenge that keeps coming up is converting it into older font formats like Kruti Dev. Most of the content I receive is in modern digital encoding (Unicode), which doesn’t always work with traditional publishing setups.

I’ve seen a few tools online that offer partial conversion, which helps when you don’t want to reformat the entire document. But some still mess up complex characters or spacing.

Has anyone found a reliable method to shift text from Unicode to legacy fonts without losing formatting? Especially for partial sections? Would really appreciate any tested suggestions!
